The RCH Team

The team of RCH consist of various Christ followers from all different walks of life who are passionate about the vision of taking the good news and love of Jesus to orphans and disadvantage children in Cameroon.

George Mbunwe, RCH Country Director of Cameroon

George is a native of Cameroon and has been a pastor in various capacities for over 15 years.  He was born in Mbot-Nkambe, in the North-West region of Cameroon to a Christian family, his father being a pastor.  He was one of eight children in a family that was raised in a strict moral and deeply Christian atmosphere. After reading a book called “Echoes of Salvation” he surrendered his life to Jesus as his Lord and Savior in June of 1997 and thereafter began his seminary training in the Cameroon Baptist Theological Seminary in Ndu.  In 2001 he graduated from seminary and planted a church in Mile One whose membership has now grown to about 250 people.  George served this church for over 10 years with the joy of seeing some of his members going into the ministry themselves.

Through the following years, he has used his gifts of preaching, teaching, leadership and pastoral ministry to serve as president of the Limbe North Association of Baptist churches, president of Boys Brigade Cameroon, along with pasturing various churches, performing marriages and volunteering in many other Christian services.  At this time he is acting as a counselor and speaker in conferences and crusades and is now furthering his studies toward a BA degree in Biblical studies.  He is married to Mbunwe Victroine and is the father of two children Mbunwe Favour and Mbunwe Covenant.  The family is now living in Limbe where his wife works with widows and orphans in the church.
