Dream Come True

In April of 2011 RCH began ministering to sixteen children in the village of Maumu from the front porch of an uninhabited house. Today, four volunteers minister to fifty children in a new three-room concrete building dedicated for that sole purpose. The new building is equipped with blackboards, large tables, benches, teacher tables, chairs, and storage cabinets.

The building is the culmination of two years of praying, planning, fundraising, and construction. Oh, I almost forgot, it also included several construction changes and modifications. (Surprise! Surprise!) What a joy it was to be a part of the dedication ceremony on April 1, 2014.

The building has 1200 square feet, three rooms, six windows with glass and heavy mesh covering, metal doors, and a metal roof. Construction began in September 2013 and was completed in March 2014 at a cost of $21,000.00. RCH is very grateful for all of your prayers, contributions, and encouragement during this process. It was evident that all attending the dedication saw the love of Christ in your willingness to sacrifice to be a part of this project. Thank you on behalf of the Village of Maumu, Cameroon.
